This thesis covers the problems generated in the roads called neighborhood roads in which a viable solution is sought for their maintenance in order to obtain a passable, safe pavement that reaches the maximum life period for the use of the community and users. of the road, proposing as the main objective the evaluation of the use of the bilayer surface treatment taking the local road Dv. Saywite - Cachora. The evaluation was carried out in the stages that the execution of the treatment entails, starting from the projection phase, the preliminary works that are required before its execution, the obtained through a pre and post evaluation of its application on the road and an economic evaluation and technical regarding Grout Seal treatment. The results were obtained that the application of the surface treatment occurs on roads with low traffic volumes in this case its IMDA is 111 vehicles / day, it is eco-friendly, it is a solution for dust control, it was also obtained that for the application of the bilayer surface treatment, it is necessary to have a uniform base that contributes structurally, from the pre and post evaluation it was possible to observe notable differences after the application of the surface treatment, obtaining an average IRI of the road of 2.18 m / km and a 3.16 serviceability index. From the technical and economic evaluation, it was obtained that the bilayer is S /. 4.45 more expensive per m2 of construction, however, its average useful life is 7.5 years and the Slurry seal is 4 years which would justify its higher cost. It is thus concluded that the use of the bilayer surface treatment is viable on low traffic roads as well as on local roads, where its remoteness would justify its use since it has a longer useful life compared to other treatments.
