As part of the initiative for the sustainability of Cement, the cement industry has been considering the recycling of some industrial waste as a component of the best practices for sustainable development, which seek to reduce pollution and give added value to these sub - products to solve problems. The main objective of this research was to seek to give importance to industrial waste such as fly ash, generated from the anthracitic coal used to ignite the boilers for the manufacture of paper and cardboard in the Trupal company and the ashes of sugar cane bagasse , generated from the bagasse from the last milling that is taken to a bagasse to dry and then taken to the boilers as fuel for the Laredo sugar company; in its use as a partial substitute for cement during the preparation of settling mortars. For this investigation, 50 cubic test tubes of 50 mm side were made, made of Pacasmayo type I cement, coarse sand, fly ash and sugar cane bagasse ash. The replacement percentages used in the research were 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, with 5 repetitions for each dosage, which resulted in 200 random tests performed, cured for 28 days. As response variables, the compressive strength of the mortars according to the ASTM 109 standard, the pozzolanic index according to the ASTM 311 standard, absorption and porosity of the mortars according to the ASTM C 642 standard were analyzed; all based on their respective regulations. The results of the pattern are 298 kg / cm2 compression, 100% pozzolanity index, 6% absorption and the values of 13% porosity. Concluding that the best percentage of ash as a partial replacement for cement was 20% for both types of ashes used in which 343 kg / cm2 and 335 kg / cm2 of compression were obtained, 114% and 112% of compression index were also obtained. pozzolanity, the values of 6% and 10% of absorption and the values of 14% and 19% of porosity for mortars with CBCA and CV respectively. It was concluded that CBCA provided the ability to obtain better physical-mechanical properties to bedding mortars.
