ABSTRACT The influence of the dosage of the AP-3418 and AR-404 collectors on recovery of lead and zinc was studied by selective flotation of a polymetallic mineral, level 2 of the bat grain of the company Western Mining 2 of Cajamarca S.R.L. The experimental study was conducted in a laboratory flotation cell, Denver D-12 model, using ore with a particle size 60% -200 mesh grading 4.48% lead and 14.82% zinc. The result of the study concluded that flotation, recovering unused collector lead is 32.30% and the dosage of the two collectors, the recovery of 50.29% is. Zinc recovery unused collector is 49.38% and the dosage of the two manifolds recovery of 56.50% is. The results are confirmed by analysis of variance for a confidence level of 95%. From this it is concluded that the recovery of lead under the influence of collector AP-3418 F0 = 179.59 is the F0.05 is greater; 2; 18 = 3.55, and the influence AR-collector 404 is greater F0 = 622.69 the F0.05; 2; 18 = 3.55 and the influence of AP-3418 and AR 404 F0 = collectors is greater than 70.87 is F0.05; 4; 18 = 2.93, obtained in tabular form. This confirms the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis, therefore, the influence of these collectors individually and collectively if significantly affect the lead recovery. The results are confirmed by analysis of variance for a confidence level of 95%. From this it is concluded that zinc recovery by the influence of collector AP-3418 F0 = 123.46 is the F0.05 is greater; 2; 18 = 3.55, and the influence AR-collector 404 is greater F0 = 312.89 the F0.05; 2; 18 = 3.55 and the influence of AP-3418 and AR 404 is F0 = collectors is greater than F0.05 492.51; 4; 18 = 2.93, obtained in tabular form. This confirms the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis, therefore, the influence of these collectors individually and collectively if significantly affect the recovery of zinc.
