Currently the modern world is facing a massive production of pneumatic tires, which generates a strong concern about the difficulty of disappearing them. Modern cities today are so dependent on cars and other means of transport where tires play a fundamental factor for their use; Without realizing it, our consumption rates worldwide are very high, in turn the amounts of tires that we stop using for various reasons increase over time; these amounts are currently being an environmental problem difficult to mitigate. To reduce these industrial quantities and counteract environmental pollution, it is presumed to use it, initially visualizing it as a valuable energy addressed in open spaces without control or treatment; extracting from this product, granulated rubber (CG) for use in pavements, subsequently making an inclusion of granulated rubber in the manufacture of asphalt mixtures in values that allow to contain the minimum requirements determined by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) and in the Highway Design manual (DGC) obtaining a modified asphalt.
