ABSTRACT This study aims to propose improvements in making ponchos chalanes to increase productivity in the company Craft Lord of Miracles. From the analysis, diagnosis and the implementation of some tools of Lean Manufacturing: Mapping value chain redesign layout, indicators and 5S tool. Ishikawa diagram, Pareto chart and lifting map current value chain, among the main ones: In the analysis of the problematic situation of the company problems that have been detected by using the tools identified lack of order and cleaning unnecessary movements, there is no linear flow processes by inadequate distribution plant, high time in performing some processes, methods and techniques used by hand. Crafts Lord of Miracles is a micro Peruvian located in the province of San Miguel, with 48 years of experience in the domestic market, it produces, designs and markets chalanes ponchos for women and men, made with raw material of excellent quality. It is necessary for this microenterprise to develop a strategy to improve the management of their manufacturing operations, Lean Manufacturing is a system of continuous improvement that seeks to produce less and less waste with the aim of increasing productivity by identifying the value chain product microenterprise, designed to improve overall production, reducing waste, unnecessary movements and using minimal inventories of raw materials, work in process and finished product. The investment amount was assessed by analyzing the NPV whose value was greater than zero and the IRR with a rate of interest higher than the interest rate of the loan made to the proposed implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools return, were be positive and thus is considered an economically viable project.
