Propuesta de implementación de un sistema de gestión logística para reducir los costos operativos en la empresa Global Mega Laboratorio Trimax

Abstract

La presente tesis es un trabajo de investigación que tiene como objetivo general la reducción de costos operativos del Área de Logística de la empresa GLOBAL MEGA – LABORATORIO TRIMAX. Para realizar las mejoras se diagnosticó la situación actual de la empresa, llevando a cabo una inspección del área de logística con motivo de identificar los problemas existentes y a partir de ello, encuestar al personal de diversas áreas para la priorización de los problemas encontrados y así poder determinar los causantes de los elevados costos operativos. Luego, se determinaron los costos incurridos por cada una de las causas raíces en el Área de Logística de la empresa GLOBAL MEGA – LABORATORIO TRIMAX. Una vez identificadas las causas raíces y los costos que implican a la empresa, se realizó una propuesta de mejora en base a herramientas de Ingeniería Industrial como: Clasificación ABC, Lote Óptimo de Pedido (LOP), Punto de Reposición (ROP), Sistema de Gestión de Indicadores, Distribución de Almacén y Plan de Capacitaciones, las cuales tienen como finalidad brindar mayor eficiencia al área de trabajo a partir de diversas estrategias que generan cambios positivos y económicamente atractivos para la empresa. Los resultados logrados con la evaluación de las propuestas de mejora son: Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR) de 81%, la cual indica la alta rentabilidad de la propuesta de mejora para la empresa, un Beneficio/Costo (B/C) obtenido de 1.74, lo cual refiere que cada sol invertido en la propuesta de mejora es recuperado y además se obtiene una ganancia de S/.1.74 y un Costo de Oportunidad equivalente a S/. 30,027.46.

This thesis is a research work that has as a general objective the reduction of operating costs of the Logistics Area of the company GLOBAL MEGA - LABORATORIO TRIMAX. In order to carry out the improvements, the current situation of the company was diagnosed, carrying out an inspection of the logistics area in order to identify the existing problems and from that, to survey the personnel of various areas for the prioritization of the problems encountered and thus be able to determine the causes of the high operating costs. Then, the costs incurred by each of the root causes in the Logistics Area of the company GLOBAL MEGA - LABORATORIO TRIMAX were determined. Once the root causes and costs involved in the company were identified, an improvement proposal was made based on Industrial Engineering tools such as: ABC Classification, Optimal Order Lot (LOP), Replenishment Point (ROP), Indicator Management, Warehouse Distribution and Training Plan, which aim to provide greater efficiency to the work area from various strategies that generate positive changes and economically attractive for the company. The results obtained with the evaluation of the proposals for improvement are: Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 81%, which indicates the high profitability of the improvement proposal for the company, a Benefit / Cost (B / C) obtained from 1.74, which indicates that each sun invested in the improvement proposal is recovered and in addition a profit of 1.74 soles and an Opportunity Cost equivalent to S /. 30,027.46.
