The objective of the present investigation was to determine the effect of the dynamic Housner model using the parameters of the E.030 standard in the seismic response in the Imhoff tank in the town of Huamboy, Lima 2020. In this sense, a non-experimental design was used, because the independent variable was not freely manipulated, a non-probabilistic or directed sample was also used, since the choice of the research element did not require it, in that sense, it was obtained as an element of study the imhoff tank of the Huamboy locality wastewater treatment plant. After all, it was determined that the dynamic Housner model using the parameters of the E.030 standard does not generate a detrimental effect on the seismic response of the imhoff tank, since the calculated stress in its inlet pipe did not exceed its allowable stress. Likewise, it was observed that the deformation calculated in the wall of the imhoff tank at the junction with the PVC-U inlet pipe did not exceed the maximum admissible deflection. On the other hand, it was observed that the dynamic properties do not depend on the parameters of the E.030 standard.
