ABSTRACT The study was carried out in rainy season and runoff in the river “Chiminero” distric of Cachachi from 2018 to 2019. For sampling points were taken (R-CH1, R-CH2, R-CH3 y R-CH4). It was determined the pH of the river “Chiminero” having an average of 7,26 mg/L, finding in the environmental quality standar for the waters, category 3, subcategories D1 and D2 establised in the Supreme Decreé 004 – 2017 MINAM. Also it was determined the consentration of nine metals in total, finding that, inside them the Iron has a consentration of an average 1,61 mg/L, the copper 0,61 and the magnesium 5,15 mg/L, these three metals being the ones that exceed the environmental quality standars for waters, category 3, sub categories D1 and D2 establised in the Supreme Decree 004-2017 MINAM. The other metals in total are finded in to environmental quality standar. KEYWORDS: Heavy metals, determination, quality, water, pollution, analysis, environmental quality standars.
