Implementación de un sistema de control de almacén y su efecto en la reducción de pérdidas de materiales en la empresa Fénix Maquinarias S.A.C. 2017

Abstract

RESUMEN El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad demostrar el efecto de la implementación de un sistema de control de almacén en la reducción de pérdidas de materiales en el almacén de la empresa Fénix Maquinarias S.A.C. ubicada en el Distrito de Moche, la cual se dedica a la fabricación de maquinaria para la Industria Alimentaria. Esta tesis contiene un análisis completo del área de almacén, para lo cual se inició identificando las debilidades, deficiencias, carencias y todos aquellos problemas que aquejaban el área en mención. Para obtener la información y los datos necesarios, se realizaron diversas visitas, entrevistas, entre otros instrumentos de investigación para poder validar todo lo referente al almacén de la empresa. Para el presente trabajo se utilizó un diseño de investigación No Experimental, aplicando el método Expost-Facto transversal, el cual permitió analizar, describir y establecer el efecto y la relación entre las variables empleadas en un momento determinado. La implementación de un sistema de control de almacén se realizó en el año 2017, mediante la incorporación de manuales, procedimientos, políticas, normas, así mismo se optó por clasificar los materiales según el tipo, calidad y fechas de vencimiento de cada material, por otro lado, se logró la instalación de un software de almacén, mediante el cual se pudo codificar cada uno de los materiales y tener mayor control sobre ellos, para poder reducir los desmedros. Además se realizó la implementación de formatos, registros, entre otros para la aplicación de un inventario de manera periódica con el fin de reducir los materiales faltantes en el almacén, y por último se implementó un plan y reglamento de seguridad con el objetivo de reducir la cantidad de materiales perdidos por hurto. Para poder determinar el efecto de dicha implementación se realizó la comparación a través de dos periodos, el primer periodo comprendido durante los meses de Enero a Junio del año 2017 y el segundo periodo después de la implementación realizada comprendido de Julio a Diciembre del año 2017. Finalmente se puede concluir que la implementación de un sistema de control de almacén genera efectos significativos en la reducción de pérdidas de materiales en el almacén de la empresa Fénix Maquinarias S.A.C. a través de la reducción de desmedros, materiales faltantes y materiales perdidos por hurtos, los cuales han sido evidenciados a través de los indicadores que se muestran en el desarrollo de la presente investigación. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research work is to demonstrate the effect of the implementation of a warehouse control system in the reduction of material losses in the warehouse of the company Fénix Maquinarias S.A.C. located in the District of Moche, which is dedicated to the manufacture of machinery for the Food Industry. This thesis contains a complete analysis of the warehouse area, for which it began by identifying the weaknesses, deficiencies, deficiencies and all those problems that affected the area in question. In order to obtain the necessary information and data, several visits, interviews, and other research instruments were carried out in order to validate everything related to the company's warehouse. For the present work a non-experimental research design was used, applying the Expost-Facto transversal method, which allowed analyzing, describing and establishing the effect and the relationship between the variables used at a given time. The implementation of a warehouse control system was carried out in 2017, through the incorporation of manuals, procedures, policies, norms, likewise it was decided to classify the materials according to the type, quality and due dates of each material, by on the other hand, the installation of warehouse software was achieved, through which each of the materials could be coded and have greater control over them, in order to reduce the damage. In addition, the implementation of formats, records, among others for the application of an inventory periodically in order to reduce the missing materials in the warehouse, and finally a security plan and regulation was implemented in order to reduce the amount of materials lost by theft. In order to determine the effect of such implementation, the comparison was made through two periods, the first period comprised during the months of January to June of the year 2017 and the second period after the implementation carried out from July to December of the year 2017. Finally, it can be concluded that the implementation of a warehouse control system generates significant effects in the reduction of material losses in the warehouse of the company Fénix Maquinarias S.A.C. through the reduction of waste, missing materials and materials lost due to thefts, which have been evidenced through the indicators shown in the development of the present investigation.
