The present investigation was carried out in a fuel trading company during the years 2015 and 2016 in the Salaverry Terminal. Its main problem is to determine the impact of the redesign of the order handling process on dispatch time at a fuel trading company in Terminal Salaverry, during the years 2015 and 2016, having as hypothesis that the redesign of the order processing process significantly impacts on dispatch time. The design of the research is experimental - quasi-experimental, because it compares a before and after the redesign of the order attention process implemented in life and real time. The technique used was the documentary analysis and the instrument was the data index, with a table provided by the company under study called “Terminal Salaverry Time KPI“, which contains information recorded day by day by the administrators who work in the operations of dispatch. n the solution, basic quality tools were used to diagnose the main problems causing delays in fuel shipments, since the average dispatch time during 2015 was 2.72 hours, above the 2.5 desired. Then the order attention process was analyzed and redesigned in order to minimize delays; for this, the Bizagi software was used. After implementing the new order attention process during 2016, the same tools were applied, obtaining an average time of 2.32 hours. To complement, the four dimensions identified in the table of Operationalization of variables: costs, quality, service and speed were measured before and after. The thesis concludes that the impact of the redesign of the order handling process on dispatch time is to reduce it significantly in the fuel trading company under study, in the Salaverry Terminal, during the years 2015 and 2016, obtaining a significant reduction of time of 0.40 hours per shipment, which is equivalent to 14.71%.
