This work experience was carried out in the Social Protection Management of the Charitable Society of Metropolitan Lima, which handled a manual document registration process and face-to-face work, covering the needs of goods and services required by the Social Protection Centers and attending to requests for information from other areas and governing bodies. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with all the provisions of the State to work remotely and maintain social distancing to prevent the spread of the virus, an improvement plan was made in the document processing, using ICT tools, such as digitization and encoding of documentation, Gmail and Google Drive to attend to the documents entering the Management, and the staff in charge can work remotely. The result was favorable, maintaining the response time for the attention of the documents, without additional cost, its implementation was fast, and contributed to the creation of a new shelter for homeless people, benefiting the users of the Social Protection Centers, as well as its members.
