ABSTRACT This thesis has been developed in order to increase the profitability of the Agroindustrial Laredo S.A.A. This has been raised to improve the current management of maintenance in the area of agricultural Workshop, through the design of a predictive maintenance system. The first chapter is the diagnosis of the current situation of the company, the problems of all areas were detected and the problem that this thesis will provide solution was formulated. For this work we examined and the respective hypothesis was performed. In the second chapter, national and international background under which the development of this thesis is guided cited; theory likewise maintenance and describes methods used during the development of the thesis to solve the problem. In the third chapter we make an overview of the company to gain a better idea of the area in which it operates, its processes, customers, suppliers, etc. In this part we use the analysis problems tools like ishikawa and Pareto chart to find the root causes that cause it, we found that, the wasted time affect directly to the factory OEE and consequently affects the profitability of the company. We propose a 20% reduction of the wasted time due to lack of availability of critical equipment agricultural workshop area. Chapters 4 and 5 details the design of predictive maintenance system, which is responsible to deal with the most critical flaws of the critical equipment, first I had to evaluated the failure, to define the predictive equipment and frequency of inspection to be performed for each critical equipment and added a training program for the staff, so they can perform without any maintenance problems. To conclude, the result of the financial economic evaluation is: NPV of S/. 264,389 and 16.4% Rate of return. This indicate that the project is profitable.
