La gestión de residuos sólidos y el uso de envases biodegradables en los comerciantes del mercado zonal Palermo, en Trujillo 2021

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene por objetivo determinar la relación entre la gestión de residuos y el uso de envases biodegradables en los comerciantes del mercado Zonal Palermo, en Trujillo 2021. La importancia de esta investigación radica en el alto riesgo que representa la generación de grandes volúmenes de residuos de los negocios comerciales en el medio ambiente. Esta investigación es de tipo correlacional, de diseño no experimental, ya que no se manipularon las variables y los datos observados y recopilados reflejan los fenómenos en su contexto natural de la muestra representativa de la población compuesta por 270 comerciantes dueños de puestos de venta del mencionado mercado de abastos. Las técnicas empleadas fueron la encuesta y observación enfocadas al uso de envases biodegradables y la manera en que gestionan los residuos. En la presente investigación se llegó a la conclusión que la gestión de residuos registra una relación positiva alta (0,749) con un P valor =0,001 < 0,05 con el uso de envases biodegradables, es decir, existe evidencia estadística para rechazar la hipótesis nula y comprobar la relación entre la gestión de residuos y el uso de envases biodegradables en los comerciantes del mercado Zonal Palermo, en Trujillo 2021.

The objective of this research work is to determine the relationship between waste management and the use of biodegradable packaging in the traders of the Palermo Zonal market, in Trujillo 2021. The importance of this research lies in the high risk represented by the generation of large volumes of waste from commercial businesses in the environment. This research is of a correlational type, of non-experimental design, since the variables were not manipulated and the observed and collected data reflect the phenomena in their natural context of the representative sample of the population composed of 270 merchants who own stalls in the food market. The techniques used were the survey and observation focused on the use of biodegradable packaging and the way in which they manage waste. In the present investigation it was concluded that waste management registers a high positive relationship (0.749) with a P value = 0.001 <0.05 with the use of biodegradable packaging, that is, there is statistical evidence to reject the null hypothesis and check the relationship between waste management and the use of biodegradable packaging in the traders of the Zonal Palermo market, in Trujillo 2021.
