The present work of application tries to emphasize the importance that is had on having chosen technologies of modern control that allow to produce in ideal form the milling plant Gold Mill of the Mining company Yanacocha S.R.L. For the correct recovery of the valuable mineral (Gold in solution). This Plant arises as need of the company to treat minerals with particular characteristics (Minerals with presence of sulfurated copper), very different from the already known ones for Miner Yanacocha in his other plants of golden recovery. The constant operation of the milling plant has allowed us to determine that independently of this mineralogy it specifies, inclusive for the same type of mineral, the response in the operation of the Grinding SAG has a moderate degree of complexity. Before this reality it is indispensable to adopt strategies of control to maximize the tried tonnage supporting an identical product to the requirements, for the later processes of golden recovery. The principal problem that is had nowadays in the operation of this plant is the variability of the recovery of the valuable mineral and the increase in the consumption of the reagent lixiviante (independently of the quantity of copper that feeds to plant), product of having a mineral ground with a bulky grain The analysis of the grain is realized by the operators every 02 hours and it is important to mention the risk which are exposed (annexe saw 03). Consequently it is of be hoping that the intervention of the man is almost void in the future analyses of grain realized in plant, thanks to the introduction of the new proposed technology. One of the additional aims to this work of application is to provide the information to the Process engineers to understand the benefits of the optimization, by means of a solid approach in the comprehension and analysis of his circuit of grinding
