The objective of this research was to establish the relationship between organizational climate and job satisfaction among employees of a public entity in the city of Cajamarca, taking into account that both variables are related to the behavior of employees within the entity and are considered predictors of organizational performance. The correlational descriptive research design was used, the sample size corresponded to the total population made up of 184 employees of the public entity and the instruments used were surveys to measure both variables. To determine the correlation, the Spearman correlation coefficient was used and among the results it was obtained that there is a direct relationship of 15% between the organizational climate and job satisfaction in the collaborators of the public entity; Likewise, an average level of 61% was obtained in the organizational climate variable and for job satisfaction an average level of 92%. Finally, it is concluded that the organizational climate has a positive relationship with the job satisfaction of the collaborators of a public entity in Cajamarca; however, the relationship is not significant given that through the application of Spearman's Rho hypothesis test, a significance level of 0.035% was obtained, this being less than 5%.
