The general objective of this research was to determine the impact of the inventory management implementation proposal on warehouse operating costs in a company that sells disposable products, Trujillo, 2021. Initially it was determined that the main causes of the high operating costs in the warehouse of the disposable products trading company originated due to: lack of stock of products, lack of supplier management, lack of distribution in the warehouse and lack of training in logistics issues. It is worth mentioning that these causes generated an annual loss of S/ 92,158.82. Then, the inventory management implementation was made in the company's warehouse, which consisted of the use of the following tools: Maximum and Minimum Method, ABC method, Supplier Management and a training schedule. It is worth mentioning that these improvements made it possible to obtain an annual benefit of S/ 57,631.27. Finally, an economic evaluation of the improvement proposal was carried out in a determined time horizon of 2 years, which is PROFITABLE since a positive NPV of S / 10,666.00 was obtained, IRR of 62.7% greater than the opportunity cost of the company of 18 %, B/C of 1.46 and an investment recovery period (PRI) of 12.14 months.
