The present study had the general objective of determining the relationship between dependence on video games and aggression in high school students of a national school in the district of Lince, 2021. In a sample of 197 students from 1st to 5th grade of secondary school that range from 11 to 18 years old. The type of study was descriptive, correlational, of a non-experimental design with a quantitative approach and cross-sectional cut. The instruments used were the Chóliz and Marco Video Game Dependency Test created in 2011 and adapted to Peru in 2017 and the Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire from 1992, adapted in Peru in 2012. Where it was determined that there is a statistically significant relationship between the variables (Rho = .318; sig. = .000), therefore, the alternate hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected, being that the greater the dependence on video games, the greater the aggressiveness in schoolchildren. 69% of the level of dependence on video games in the study was low, 26% regular and 5% type, in reference to the level of aggressiveness it was 74% regular, 23% high level and 3% low level.
