ABSTRACT This academic work has an objective study if there is a relation between Burnot and emotional intelligence between Cajamarca’s schools’ teachers, considering for this a descriptive correlational study research, 97 female and male teachers of primary and secondary from Cajamarca’s schools were evaluated. All the information was obtained by using a Burnot of Maslachand scale and an intelligence scale “Quotient Inventory”. The analysis of 20 items stablished the validity and reliability of both instruments. The evaluation of burnout was focused on: emotional exhaustion and personal achievement, similarly to evaluate emotional intelligence, was considered the following areas such us; intrapersonal component (CIA): conformed by emotional comprehension (EC), assertiveness(AS), self-concept, self-realization, independence, interpersonal component: conformed by empathy, interpersonal relations, Social Responsibility, adaptability, comformed by problem solution, reality evaluation, flexibility, management of stress, conformed by, self-control, personal emotion; conformed by happiness, and optimism. Finding there is not correlation between burnout and the emotional intelligence.
