ABSTRACT In this research an analysis of the production process hydrated lime mining company P'HUYU YURAC II, located in the region of Cajamarca, Peru was made; where a diagnosis of current business conditions, for which measurements of the production process of hydrated lime were taken, in order to obtain indicators was carried out first. The company has a system of hydration of lime (Off lime) manually, where production losses are very high, becoming an average of 7530 kg per day, which is why this research a system is proposed of lime paid through a hydrator Cal Slaker type, mainly because of its low investment cost, easy operation and maintenance, high security and easy installation. In this context we proceeded to make projections on the productivity of the process with this new team, based on the results initially obtained in the diagnosis of production; with which it was possible to find that the implementation of this hydrator could significantly improve production efficiency Hydration of calcium; in terms of efficiency, it improved by 20% the hydration process, and in terms of economic and productivity increases production 12.8% were achieved; showing that the implementation of a hydrator Cal for the hydration process, impacts positively on the productivity of the company.
