Mejora en la gestión de abastecimiento y mantenimiento para incrementar la rentabilidad de una empresa de transportes de carga

Abstract

En primera instancia se realizó un diagnóstico general de la situación actual de la empresa. Para la presente tesis, se seleccionó el área de mantenimiento al ser la que más influencia en los costos operativos. Se determinó que las causas que mayor impacto tenían eran la presencia de proveedores deficientes, la deficiente gestión de abastecimiento y la falta de mantenimiento predictivo. El año pasado estas causas generaron una pérdida de S/ 169,918. El objetivo principal es la reducción de costos operativos de una empresa de transportes de carga, mediante un diseño de investigación descriptiva y la implementación de metodologías y herramientas de la ingeniería como homologación de proveedores, ABC, método EOQ, simulación, mantenimiento predictivo, que fueron evaluadas económica y financieramente. El VAN del proyecto es de S/18,405 y el TIR 64.24%, al ser el VAN positivo y el TIR es superior que la tasa impositiva del Banco de Crédito del Perú, se puede decir que esta propuesta de mejora en la gestión de mantenimiento de los camiones que operaran en el Alto Chicama, es viable. Finalmente, con la información recolectada a través del diagnóstico, se presenta un análisis de resultados con datos cuantitativos para corroborar el logro del objetivo planteado. La rentabilidad de la empresa aumenta en 2% entre el periodo 2018 y el presente.

The main objective is the reduction of operating costs of a freight transport company, through a descriptive research design and the implementation of engineering methodologies and tools such as supplier approval, ABC, EOQ method, simulation, predictive maintenance, which were evaluated economically and financially. The NPV of the project is S / 20.406 and the IRR 64.235%, being the NPV positive and the IRR is higher than the tax rate of the Credit Bank of Peru, it can be said that this proposal for improvement in the management of maintenance of the trucks that will operate in Alto Chicama, is viable. Thus, it has been determined the implementation of engineering methodologies and tools such as homologation of suppliers, ABC, EOQ method, simulation, predictive maintenance, which have been evaluated economically and financially. Finally, with the information collected through the diagnosis, an analysis of results with quantitative data is presented to corroborate the achievement of the proposed objective. The profitability of the company increases by 2% between the period 2018 and the present.
