ABSTRACT For the design of road infrastructure, its importance to have the resistance value of the subgrade (CBR) is needed so that this value is optimal to reduce the thicknesses of the layers of sub-base, base and wearing course. The main objective of this work is to investigate whether incorporating natural lime soil in the percentage of 2%, 4%, 6% and 8%, it increases their resistance and decreases its plasticity. For the development of this research project we proceeded to first sampling by 02 1.50m deep pits where the layer to be analyzed is obtained approximately 40 cm excavation, after the ground was analyzed in the lab getting by through the sieve tests and Atterberg limits, a clay loam soil according to USCS and AASHTO classification. Atterberg limits, Proctor Modified and California Bearing Ratio for each sample incorporating the aforementioned amounts of lime: then the following tests are performed in the laboratory floor. He proceeded to determine the values of: liquid limit, plastic limit and plasticity index by testing the limits of Atterberg, optimum moisture content and MDD by trial Modified Proctor and CBR 95% Density Maximum Seca 0.1 “and 0.2“ by the California Bearing Ratio test. When processing data from various tests, it is confirmed that lime increases progressively in poncetajes 2%, 4%, 6% and 8% the strength of silt and clay subgrade CBR having 0.1 “with a floor Natural a CBR of 5.20%, 2% lime incorporating a CBR of 5.30%, 4% lime incorporating a CBR of 6.30%, 6% lime incorporating a CBR of 7.20% and 8% lime incorporating a CBR of 8.05 ; CBR 0.2 “with a natural ground a CBR of 5.40%, 2% lime incorporating a CBR of 5.70%, 4% lime incorporating a CBR of 6.60%, 6% lime incorporating a CBR of 7.50%, and incorporating 8% of lime a CBR of 8.30%.
