The research has an aim the development of the proposal of the improvement in the engines converted to LPG maintenance area and the profitability increase in Visa Gas company.E.I.R.L. It was done an analytical study in the maintenance area and it was diagnosed as a critical area; because of some vehicular units were unattended for the root cause: lack of purchasing spare parts planning, a working plan is missing and the lack of training; producing financial losses giving as a consequence a low profitability in the company. Also, in the theoretical basis is underpinned the propose development: for the methodology planning, improvement tool for each root cause. They will guarantee the control and sustaining in the engines converted to LPG maintenance area; in order to increase the profitability in the company. The solution proposed depends on the applicability of each tool for each root cause. Those are the one which will determine the economical evaluation and positive financial. Finally, and with this all contrasted and analyzed information the result analysis of increase the profitability are presented through the proposal of the improvement in the engines converted to LPG maintenance. The result is a S/. 74 115,2 VAN, a 69,72% TIR and a 2.85 cost/benefit. Indicators that served as analysis to do the conclusions and recommendations.
