This thesis work tries to address the need of a Cajamarquina company dedicated to the mechanical metal sector to optimize its supply process and material planning. CATSOL SRL has as strategic plan for the year 2017, expand its operations, which is why it needs to improve its planning and production control system, this implies to implement an MRP I system to the mine maintenance area for the optimization of the material planning process and the control of production for the maintenance of components of heavy equipment yellow line of the company CATSOL SRL, in workshops Yanacocha North of the year 2017. In this context, the company sees the need to adopt an MRP system whose objective is to improve the planning and control of its operations, the availability and access to information that the MRP allows to operate in a framework of globalization and competitiveness. , as well as measuring the optimization of the material baking process and control of the production area for the reconstruction and maintenance of components for heavy equipment of the company CATSOL SRL. The development and implementation of the MRP system was carried out with the support of the Visual Studio 2015 Development Program as a development IDE, the language used was C # and the SQL database was used as the database manager 2012. The SCRUM methodology was also used, since it is an agile, collaborative and, above all, easy to apply methodology, provided us with the adequate framework to develop the project, optimizing time and resources. We can describe the development of the whole thesis project by defining in part the problem of research, justification and objectives in chapter 1, the theoretical framework that deals with the antecedents, theoretical bases and hypotheses are described in chapter 2, in the following chapter we describe the operationalization of variables, research design, study unit, population, sample, instruments and data collection techniques. In chapter 4, it contemplates the development of the thesis using the SCRUM methodology as a basis, chapter 5 shows the discussion, simulating two indicators in the materials planning and stock management process of the company Catsol Srl. The result of this research project is a software called SISTEMA CATSOL, capable of optimizing the material planning process and the control of the production area for the maintenance of components for heavy equipment of yellow line of the company. The implementation of the MRP I system in the mine maintenance area of CATSOL SRL will optimize the materials planning and control processes of the reconstruction and maintenance area of components reducing the company´s inventory costs.
