The present research aims to know the continuous improvement methodologies used in the improvement of productivity, which allows organizations to maintain systematic control over their processes; evaluating them and determining those that need to be improved and planning the actions required to achieve it. To achieve more efficient decision making, a set of qualitative techniques were proposed, collected from databases such as ProQuest, Scielo and Redalyc, where the keywords used for the search and collection were “productivity“, “methodologies“, “ continuous improvement”. As a result of this investigation, 85 articles were obtained, which were reduced to thirteen, because they were analyzed under two exclusion and inclusion criteria, from both phases 13 articles were chosen which served as the basis for the investigation. The results show a preference for the use of Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, PDCA Cycle methodologies. The study aims to have an analytical contribution. The results show economic benefits and for human resources, considering mainly the minimization of unnecessary processes and the opportunity for professional development offered to the staff; important data for those involved in continuous improvement projects in companies.
