The present research aims to determine the Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Digital Competences of teachers in a Private Educational Institution in the city of Cajamarca 2020. The population and sample of this study was conformed by 20 teachers of the particular educational institution, the technique that was used was a census, and as an instrument a census sheet for each variable, designed with a Likert scale with five levels of answer, and conformed with 26 questions for the variable Emotional Intelligence, and with 21 questions for the variable Digital Competences respectively. The research was carried out using a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, transversal design. The reliability analysis was obtained by means of Crombach's Alpha statistician, having as a result for the variable Emotional Intelligence 78% and for the variable Digital Competences 95.9%. The results for the hypothesis test show that there is a direct non-significant relationship, since the P - VALUE = 0.112 indicates that the relationship is not significant, therefore the hypothesis was rejected. It was concluded that the level of emotional intelligence of the teachers in the particular educational institution is high, and it was also identified that the digital competencies of the population analyzed are at a high and medium level.
