The present study seeks to determine the relationship between Soft Skills and the work environment of women and men who occupy strategic positions in a particular university in the Lambayeque Region. For this, the present was developed based on a correlational type of research, with a quantitative level, a non-experimental research design, and a hypothetical deductive methodology, this work with a population sample of 82 women and men who currently occupy a position strategic in a Lambayecan university. With a Census-type sampling, the Soft Skills questionnaire instruments created by Huanaco (2019) and the CL-SPC Work Climate scale created by Palma (2004) were used. The research resulted in a highly significant correlation between the soft skills variables and the work environment (p<.05); Likewise, it is observed that said correlation is positive and strong (Rho=.823); In addition, a high level of Teamwork (70.70%), Leadership (74.40%) and Empathy (75.60%) skills is seen more predominantly; while the empathy skill has a predominantly medium level (51.20%); On the other hand, a very favorable level of work environment is observed with greater predominance, (42.70%), followed by a favorable level (30.50%), average (20.70%) and unfavorable (6.10%). Finally, a highly significant correlation is determined between dimensions of band skills and the work environment (p<.05); in addition to a positive and strong correlation between each of them with a correlation coefficient that ranges between .626 and .790.
