Currently in the city of Lima we have a big problem that is noise pollution, which is affecting the population in different districts, which is no stranger to district of the south zone of Lima. The general objective was to determine the acoustic absorption of the partition without filling and using the different types of uses within the wall to optimize its use in construction projects. The methodology was extracted, which has an experimental approach, The population of this investigation was the standard type partition and the sample is represented by five models prepared to carry out the tests according to the experimental design. The most important thing to determine the absorption in the methodology was the triangulation of the interviews carried out and the answers obtained, since the tests were carried out on the partition without padding and with three different types of padding. The most difficult thing was to get a reverberant chamber and thus optimize the study of noise absorption in the standard type of partition. As a result, it was verified that the acoustic absorption in the standard partition used the three different types of drinks; Having the egg carton the most effective.
