The present investigation arose with the need to verify the efficiency of biodigesters and artificial wetlands in the treatment of domestic wastewater based on the removal of physicochemical and microbiological parameters, as well as the comparison of these parameters with the LMP established by MINAM, in SUPREME DECREE N ° 003-2010. In the methodology a type of descriptive research has been carried out where the sample consists of a set of research data as theses, scientific articles that were extracted from reliable sources such as Scielo, Dialnet, Google academic. For this, a sampling has been established, selecting 10 studies of biodigesters and 15 of artificial wetlands. Based on the results of the average removal percentages for each treatment, it was found that in the biodigesters total suspended solids were removed 70.02%, chemical oxygen demand (COD) 42.68%, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) 44.82%, coliform fecal 47.63%, meanwhile in artificial wetlands, fecal coliforms 89.17%, total suspended solids 82.77%, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) 78.03%, chemical oxygen demand (COD) 72.91% were obtained, then the comparison was made of parameters evaluated with the maximum permissible limits, where it is observed that the fecal coliforms, BOD5 and COD do not comply with the LMP because they exceed the required amount, for its part, the parameters evaluated of the artificial wetlands are below the amounts required by the rule.
