Construction and demolition waste is one of the most significant impacts of the works due to its large volume and heterogeneity. As an alternative to mitigate the environmental impact generated by these construction waste, a methodology was used that allowed the use of these in partial replacement of the coarse aggregate. The research was developed to analyze the physical and mechanical properties of recycled concrete to see if it can be used in an asphalt mix design. The granulometry test was performed to quantitatively determine the particle size distribution of the coarse aggregate; the Abrasion test, which allows us to evaluate the effect of friction wear; and, finally, the Marshall method, which allows us to measure the resistance to plastic deformation of briquettes made from bituminous mixtures. The use of recycled concrete in the asphalt mix design is feasible since it meets the quality standards required by the norm. It also saves costs and significantly improves environmental impact. With the results obtained, it was analyzed that, indeed, partially recycled concrete can be used for the design of asphalt mixtures.
