ABSTRACT This thesis was developed with the purpose of solving the problem of lack of lime supply in Cajamarca, implementing a plant, its main objective is to determine the technical-economic feasibility of the project, through a detailed analysis of each of the various Studies carried out such as: The market, technical and financial study; Validating the implementation of this project, observing the good results of the studies already mentioned; In addition to generating more than 50 sources of direct and indirect work in the district of La Encañada. We started with a market study to determine the real supply and demand, which were projected through a linear regression from 2017 to 2025, allowing us to know what the demand will be unsatisfied and thus to have an idea More clear how much will be the production for these nine years. With the technical study we were able to calculate the annual production that will be 18 000 tonnes, depending on the size and capacity of the calcination kilns to be built, we also define the location of the production plant trying to find the most advantageous location For all the areas of work within the plant, subsequently all the equipment and machinery to be used were chosen, besides fulfilling these with all the requirements to efficiently complete a working day. The whole production process of quicklime was identified, from the extraction of the raw material to the transportation and commercialization of the product. An estimate of reserves was made giving us a total of 6 360 000 TMS and a mine life of about 40 years. Finally, with the help of the financial study, we established how much will be the fixed investment of the project, as well as the cost of operation. Having a base price per ton of quicklime of the last year, we calculated the sales revenue with an annual inflation of 3%, then we calculate the unit cost of manufacture as well as the break-even point. The cash flow of the project was made for a period of nine years where we included a bank loan paid in two years with a variable rate amortization system, in the financial evaluation, we calculate the indicators as: profitability, IRR (NPV), the period of capital recovery and the profit / cost ratio, giving us all these financial indicators excellent results, giving the option of increasing installed capacity by acquiring new technologies, concluding economically and technically that it is Feasible the implementation of a plant for the production of ground and granulated lime in this district.
