ABSTRACT This thesis aims to determine the comparative economic analysis between a dust house and a house of confined masonry, both one level and with similar features. The project includes a projected housing in an area of 151.81 m2, located at San Martín avenue, as well as for dust to confined masonry. Both houses will have two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom, laundry and yard. Due to the location of the land where housing projects, is considered an allowable capacity of the ground of 1.0 kg / cm2. As for the design of housing in dust, Adobe E.080 standard was used and the design of housing in confined masonry Standard E.070 and E.060 Masonry Reinforced Concrete norm of the National Building Regulations was used. After analyzing structures proceeded to make plans and measure thereof. Projects Electrical Installations and Health, with their respective planes were also developed. Then the unit costs of each item and the budget for each building were developed using the S10 and updated to October of this year prices. Finally the cost of each of the houses, so that can be compared and shown to confined masonry housing is cheaper than adobe, for purposes of useful area is presented.
