The present thesis that we have made is entitled: “Analysis of CBR, maximum density and resistance to cutting to stabilize a clay soil SC using 1%, 3% and 5% with elder ash in Lima East district of Ate-Vitarte “, having as main objective to stabilize the soil with elderberry ash, fruit element that grows in Lima and most of some provinces of Peru, especially Cajamarca from where the material has been collected. The research design according to the contrasting technique of the project is an experimental research which was developed entirely in the laboratory. The population and the sample is the area of the land to be treated in the area of the Urbanization pariachi, Lima East district Ate -Vitarte that has an area of 25000 m2. Of which the sample is 200 m2 Instruments that are standardized protocols to collect the results directly and reliably of the following tests: ASTM D 6913- 200 (particle size by Sieving), ASTM D 2216 (Moisture content), ASTM D 4318 (consistency limit), ASTM D 1557 / ASTM D1883 (Modified proctor for CBR) ASTMD 1883 (CBR) , ASTM. D 4254 (Minimum Relative Density), ASTM. D 4254 (Maximum Relative Density), ASTM. D 3080 (Cutting test under drained consolidated conditions) Finally we can conclude that, if possible the stabilization of the clay soil, of the urbanization Pariachi lime This district Ate-Vitarte, adding elderberry ashes, emphasizing that it was only carried out for this type of experiment that is to say with 1%, 3% and 5% of the organic fruit element such as elderberry, since through the tests carried out in the Mateslab soil laboratory with the samples of the natural soil collected in Lima Este Ate-Vitarte, the improvements of the soil properties are observed as the amount of elderberry ash is increased by 1%, 3% and 5% of it.
