Robotic process automation (RPA) refers to an AI system that enables the replication of a standardized task that was previously performed by an employee, resulting in increased productivity and process efficiency. As a result, the implementation of this technology typically leads to positive indirect impacts on profitability, precision, and reduction of error margins. Therefore, the aim of this study is to establish the correlation between productivity and the use of RPA in the operations of a peruvian company in 2021. The methodology of this research has a quantitative and experimental approach. After implementing the technology in the process of user creations in the master of materials, the results showed a 27% reduction in process execution time, a 0% error rate, and a 100% compliance with the process, which aligns with the findings of other studies that reduce process time by 20% and 80%. Thus, it can be concluded that RPA has a positive impact on the productivity and efficiency of the selected process.
