Relación entre clima familiar y rendimiento académico en adolescentes mujeres de un colegio particular de la ciudad de Cajamarca, 2017

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo estudiar la relación entre clima familiar y rendimiento académico en adolescentes mujeres de un colegio particular de la ciudad de Cajamarca. La investigación fue de tipo correlacional y de corte trasversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 61 estudiantes mujeres de secundaria de los grados de 2° a 5°, entre las edades de 13 y 17 años. Para evaluar el clima familiar, se utilizó la Escala de Clima Social Familiar de Moos (1984) adaptada por Ruiz y Guerra (1993) y el rendimiento académico se obtuvo del promedio final de las estudiantes en el año 2017. Los resultados de esta investigación muestran que no existe una correlación significativa entre la variable rendimiento académico y clima familiar, lo mismo sucede con las dimensiones Relaciones y Desarrollo del clima familiar, y con respecto a la dimensión Estabilidad y rendimiento académico existe una relación significativa.

The present investigation aims to study the relationship between family climate and academic performance in female teenagers of a private school in Cajamarca. The investigation was of correlational type and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 61 female secondary school students from grades 2 to 5, between the ages of 13 and 17. To assess the family climate the Moos Family Social Climate Scale (1984) adapted by Ruiz and Guerra (1993) was used and the academic performance was obtained from the students' final average. The results of this research show that there is no significant correlation between the variable academic performance and family climate, the same happens with the dimensions Relations and Development of the family climate, and with respect to the dimension Stability and academic performance there is a significant relationship.
