This research project is the evaluation of the energy situation of the company Cemento Pacasmayo Cajamarca in order to propose technical and operational changes that will increase energy efficiency by improving the production process and optimizing productivity. For this information was collected by measurements in different equipment company, mainly those that consume electricity; evaluating the energy state of the most important characteristic indicators in the different business processes. After analyzing and evaluating the energy situation some proposals for improvements made from the results, based on energy-saving opportunities that were found in each sector, leading to reduced energy costs is presented. Among the results, the change in energy indicators are evidence for a 6-month evaluation, obtaining efficient results as 0.39 kWh / Ton and inefficient values of 6.46 kWh / Ton, which demonstrates a great opportunity for energy savings and therefore economical. The largest increase in saving electricity as well as the cost of production, he would by the change in the electricity tariff, which currently is in the MT2 rate, so serious proposal in change MT3 without no investment involved. While it is true, the project is very specific to Pacasmayo SRL Cement Plant; Cajamarca headquarters, the methodology used to find the solution to the problem is replicable because it involves a series of criteria for analyzing a process to any project that seeks to generate energy savings.
