This thesis is focused on expanding the knowledge about the principles of neuroarchitecture, from the architectural point of view, so that they can be implemented in the design of a Child Rehabilitation Center. This project responds to the needs of children with disabilities in this city, since they do not have a specialized rehabilitation center, which at the time of being projected takes into account their real needs. For this reason, it is proposed to implement criteria related to the principles of neuroarchitecture in the design, since they will help to make the spaces more suitable for children. The objective of the research is to determine how the principles of neuroarchitecture can be applied in the design of this type of establishment. In addition, a theoretical framework is developed that deepens the topic of neuroarchitecture, and theoretical bases that will serve to clarify the concepts that will be developed in the thesis, as well as the dimensions and indicators, which are related to environmental principles. , architectural and perceptual of neuroarchitecture. Also, national and international case studies were analyzed, which helped to ensure that the variable and the proposed design guidelines are valid and can be applied. Regarding the architectural proposal, the dimension of the project was determined, an architectural programming, a terrain and the guiding idea were proposed, in which it can be clearly observed how the principles of neuroarchitecture can be applied in the architectural object. The result is an architectural proposal that complies with the design guidelines related to natural lighting, the presence of therapeutic gardens, volume shape, spatiality, color in the interior design and the use of natural materials, which seek to generate spaces that provide a feeling of comfort and security for the physical and psychological recovery of patients with disabilities.
