ABSTRACT The study was conducted at the District Ichocán capital; with reference to two reservoirs constructed which have the implementation of the static level in the system, with the overall objective to identify the benefits of using the mechanism of the static level in the water system of the urban area of the district Ichocán. Comparative - descriptive methodology was used. Saving treated water and static level, each component with its indicators and allocated expenditure, obtaining cost system implementation, operation, maintenance of reservoirs: To determine the benefit that causes the installation of static level in reservoirs two components were used consumption per capita of users, which are compared with the same reservoirs assuming they do not have static system implementation which will not prevent wastage of treated water. The results conclude that implementing the static level benefits by 182% the annual expenditure to generate reservoirs, thus improving the quality of life in people who consume water from the potable water system.
