Furthermore, if we compare 2013 - 2014, we can realize that between those years there was a positive increase of 3.96%, which assures us that the Japanese increasingly are opting for this product. During the investigation it was determined that the Japanese population is aging and increasingly represents a greater number of people eat foods that improve and maintain their health, even the rest of the adult population is driven by a healthy diet as a factor disease prevention. This indicates that Japan is a major world power, which allows us to have a good market for the export of Hass avocado, considering the excellent presentation, cleaning and care package. The great benefit that allows us to enter preferential tariff to Japan, is due to the Agreement on Economic Peru Association - Japan which entered into force on 1 March 2012, which represents a great advantage for Peru, achieving position it as a country with a high investment destination, as a result bringing the Asian continent see Peru as a consolidated and pro-business. The proposal of this thesis is to make a product profile (avocado Hass of La Libertad to Japan) in order to establish the strategies to be used for future exporters, enabling them to meet the great opportunities offered by the Japanese market, knowing tariff barriers are established and emphasize them to enter successfully positioning itself as a product of good quality and highly competitive.
