The main objective of this thesis was to analyze the sensational content of the Chicha Diaries and the violation of journalistic ethics according to the perception of journalists from Lima. For this purpose, the contributions of previous research carried out at the national and international level were assumed as the theoretical assumption of the study, in order to organize the content and global structure of the work. Methodologically and by treatment of the information it corresponded to the qualitative approach; and by its level, a basic descriptive. The design was descriptive - transactional, because the information was collected in a single act. The selection of the sample was carried out by a non-probabilistic procedure, which is why it was intentional in that the interviewed census sample was a small number, since it was not possible to access a greater number of journalists due to social immobility restrictions due to Covid 19 The results showed that the sensational content of the “chicha newspapers” and the violation of journalistic ethics are predominant categories in their formalization, particularly on their covers, in order to attract the attention of their readers and attract, entertain or “divert them. “With a superficial presentation of the facts. Its purpose was to take possession of the Fujimori government, hence its “Fujimori“ press.
