This research work has been carried out in the Puente Piedra district, gocusing the research on the management of possession and control of potentially dangerous dogs in Puente Piedra, such as the analysis of legislation in the year 2022. The general objective is the general purpose of the study is to determine the level of compliance with Municipal Ordinance No. 291-MDPP established by the Municipality of Puente Piedra regarding possession and control of potentially dangerous dogs in Puente Piedra, in the year 2022. The research approach used is the mixed, of a descriptive and explanatory type, with a non-experimental level and a hermeneutic phenopmenological method, using non-probability sampling for convenienve. Due to the detail, the survey technique has been used for citizens who transit and reside in the Puente Piedra distric, as well as interviews with public employees who are experts in the matter, such as the members of the DEPPOLCAN- PNP and staff of the Municipality of Puente Piedra. It was concluded that the Municipal Ordenance No. 291-MDPP does not fulfill its purpose with ists purpose of regularizing potentially dangerous dogs and the imposition of sanctions, having poor perception and citizen satisfaction.
