Abstract: El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar la relación existente entre el uso problemático del teléfono móvil y la satisfacción marital en parejas del distrito de Los Olivos. Se empleó el Cuestionario de Experiencia Relacionado con el Móvil – CERM y la Escala de Ajuste Diádico (EAD). La metodología siguió el enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de investigación no experimental, de diseño descriptivo, comparativo y correlacional de corte transversal, se utilizó un muestreo no probabilístico de tipo intencional compuesta por 284 personas de ambos sexos, casadas o convivientes de 21 a 64 años de edad. Los resultados indican que existe correlación inversa entre el uso problemático del móvil y la satisfacción marital (rho= -0.436; p = 0,001). Se encontró que el 44,7% presenta bajo uso problemático, un 29,6% uso problemático moderado y un 25,7% refiere tener un alto uso problemático del teléfono móvil. Así mismo, el 58,10 % de la muestra refiere que tiene una alta satisfacción marital, un 26,06% una baja satisfacción marital y 15,85% moderada satisfacción marital. También se encontró que existen que hay diferencias en el uso problemático de móvil entre hombres y mujeres (U=8448.500; p<.05). Y por último no se encontró diferencias en la satisfacción marital entre hombres y mujeres.
The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the problematic use of mobile phones and marital satisfaction in couples in Los Olivos district. The Mobile-Related Experience Questionnaire - CERM and the Diádico Adjustment Scale (EAD) were used. The methodology followed the quantitative approach, type of non-experimental research, descriptive design, comparative and cross-sectional correlation, using a non-probabilistic sampling of intentional type composed of 284 people of both sexes, married or cohabiting from 21 to 64 years of age. age.
