ABSTRACT The present research project aims to improve the Process of Transportation and Follow-up of the Service to Boticas that is executed in the area of Logistics, specifically sub Area of Distribution and Service of the company ECKERD PERÚ SA, through the application of the methodology of the 7 steps. In the first stage of the research work, the process of Transport and Follow-up of the Service to Boticas of the Distribution area of the company ECKERD PERÚ S.A. was detailed. To understand the current situation, a mapping and a description of the process of the Distribution area has been carried out, finding faults such as late delivery of goods to the premises, complaints of the premises by the transport service, damaged and / or deteriorated merchandise, which affects the indicators of Service and Quality, these failures were analyzed using the tool Ishikawa. Through the application of Ishikawa tool was analyzed the causes and sub causes that are generating, do not deliver in time the merchandise to the pharmacies and the complaints by the pharmacies for the service of the carriers; it is worth mentioning that the transportation service is tertiary and there are now five (5) transport companies that distribute the merchandise to all national pharmacies of Inkafarma. With the data obtained, an attached questionnaire was generated, which was applied to the collaborators of the area. Among the proposals for improvement is to implement the Good Practices of Distribution and Transportation, Manual of Functions for the Follow-up of the deliveries of the day, Formats of Check List for the process of Transport and Follow-up to the Boticas, Implementation of Roadmap and Distribution from the province of Botica to Botica (Transfer Format), that is to say, supply Boticas with greater stock to the nearest pharmacies that demand the merchandise to reduce the overcost on alternate routes. Finally, it is concluded that with the application of the methodology of the 7 steps and implementing the improvement proposals, it is estimated a reduction in the failures and complaints that are currently presented in the service and quality indicators, reducing the failures in the delivery process of merchandise and complaints respectively.
