The purpose of this research was to evaluate the physicochemical and microbiological quality of the springs for human consumption in the Chin Chin Tres Cruces populated center, Cajamarca 2019; with applied, non-experimental, descriptive, longitudinal comparative design. The data collection techniques used were observation and documentary analysis, the samples were collected from two underground springs that provide water to the residents of the study area using the National Protocol for Quality Monitoring of Surface Water Resources according to ANA (2016)., Samples were taken from two springs which consist of two receiving bodies located in the upper part and one receiving body in the lower part. The parameters analyzed were pH, Conductivity, Total dissolved solids, Chlorine, Iron, Lead, Arsenic, Copper, Nitrite, Nitrate, Aluminum, Fecal coliforms, Coliforms Thermo tolerant. It was concluded that the water of the two springs has a bad type quality with values of 36.97 for the spring No. 1 and 39.65 in the spring No. 2 according to D.J. No. 068-2018-ANA. In which a conventional treatment of purification is necessary for its consumption according to the Environmental Quality Standards.
