ABSTRACT This study aims to evaluate the implementation technically and economically of a company dedicated to the export of footwear to the country of Chile, which it is being established in Trujillo city, recognized as “shoe capital” being an economic activity of many entrepreneurs. This study is based on the opportunity to synergy among renowned companies in the production of leather shoes and our company, providing support in the sales process and focusing on an interesting and attractive market such as the Chilean market. Moreover, this project is part of the strategic guidelines set by the Peruvian government through various government programs and related support to encourage and develop the productive sector, which would help to standardize and achieve the specific requirements of the market. The study begins by establishing the necessary links to make our value chain involved with the project, defining the type of market which we entered, and the type of footwear and suppliers that would be associated with a project of this nature We continue with a market analysis aimed at analyzing the feasibility of establishing a potential demand in the Chilean market, also defining the geographical regions in which we focus, between Arica and BioBio and the kind of customer and channel by which to reach our market. Then it is proceeded to perform the economic and financial evaluation for the project, considering economic sectors and assumptions for the feasibility consensus a discount rate of 16.48% which we have estimated according to the structure of the capital opportunity cost. For these scenarios and based on commonly used indicators such as the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Net Present Value (NPV), we can conclude that the project is feasible with ENPV of S /. 369,382.50 and FNPV of S /. 364,044.73; and EIRR 72.22% and FIRR 83.93% higher than the discount rate established. Finally, M&C Shoes S.A.C. also seeks to achieve sustained development of local industry, generating beneficial relationships for our company and for our customers, suppliers and all related industry this economic activity and also develop our city and region.
