In Peru, the wastewater treatment system uses technologies with more than 40 years of use, the Peruvian standard allows its use and design especially in the highlands of the country, it is in this Quechua altitude floor up to 3000 meters above sea level, where water stress puts pressure on aquifers and water sources, the National Water Authority issues authorization resolutions for the use of human consumption and can also give authorizations for irrigation from the same source, which may create conflicts over fresh water, so the reuse of wastewater is a factor to study, this thesis presents a proposal for wastewater treatment, for its reuse in irrigation, this proposal uses the ultrafiltration membrane train system with pores between 10 and 0.1 μm this material will retain all 98% of the BOD, and 100% of E. coli, ECA parameters and the permissible limits that the WHO accepts for the reuse of this effluent so as not to cause harm to users and operates In addition, the ultrafiltration membranes will allow Nitrogen (N) to pass between 79% to 43% and organic Phosphorus (P) between 75% to 24%, nutrients that crops can take advantage of, the sustainability of the The proposal of this work is positive only with the payment of the treatment fee, leaving the use of treated water for irrigation as a resource that the user population of the irrigation system can pay for the area irrigated with these treated water.
