The present research study was carried out in the company SULPOL S.A.C. This was designed to design a production, training, maintenance management and solid waste management plan to reduce the operational costs of area Matricería that works in the Matricería area. The investigation begins with a diagnosis of the current situation, of the processes, of the company through a diagram that allows us to find the root causes that incur unnecessary costs due to an inadequate Production Planning technique as well as the lack of A Resource Management System, lack of a maintenance plan and solid waste management. Having identified opportunities for improvement, different tools and methodologies pertaining to industrial engineering were used, such as Process Management, Human Resources Management, Maintenance Management and a Solid Waste Management Plan. After applying these tools and methodologies the proposal is evaluated, recalculating the initially designed indicators, to have an objective measurement on the perceived benefit. By applying Process Management and Human Resources Management, proposed operational costs were reduced. Finally, the proposal was obtained through economic engineering obtaining a VAN of S / .101 340.48 and an annual TIR of 137.84%.
