Sistema de gestión entomológica bajo tecnología móvil web para el proceso de vigilancia y control del aedes aegypti, agente transmisor del dengue en la Red Regional de Epidemiología La Libertad

Abstract

Esta investigación está desarrollada en el ámbito del desarrollo de software, orientada a la mejora del proceso de vigilancia y control del Aedes aegypti, agente transmisor del dengue en La Red Regional de Epidemiología La Libertad. La investigación trata de probar que es posible mejorar dicho proceso, implementando un sistema de gestión entomológica bajo tecnología móvil-web, usando como metodología de desarrollo el Proceso Unificado Rational (RUP). Se llegó a la conclusión que se logró mejorar el proceso de vigilancia y control del Aedes aegypti, agente transmisor del dengue posterior al despliegue del sistema, mejorando el tiempo promedio del registro de inspección de viviendas logrando ahorrar un promedio de 6.6 horas de trabajo, mejorando el tiempo promedio del consolidado de información logrando ahorrar un 0.31 horas de trabajo, reduciendo el porcentaje de error en el consolidado de información en un 73.90%, además de incrementar la satisfacción del cliente en un 111.54%.

This research is developed in the software development environment, oriented to improve the monitor and control process of Aedes aegypti, dengue transmitter agent for the “La Red Regional de Epidemiología La Libertad”. This research tries to prove that is posible to improve that process, implementing a entomologic managment system using mobile and web technology and Rational Unified Process (RUP) as software development process. The conclusion of this research is that the monitor and control process of Aedes aegypti, dengue transmitter agent was improved after system deployment, improving the registration average time, saving and average of 6.6 job hours, improving the consolidated average time of information, saving and average of 0.31 job hours, reducing the error percentage in information consolidated on 73.90%. Also the customer satisfaction was increased in 114.54%.
