Objective: The present research work aimed to determine the effects of a physiotherapy program on disability due to low back pain of teachers treated at a physiotherapy center, Huaura 2022. Method: a study with a quantitative approach, quasi-experimental design, applied type, explanatory level and hypothetical-deductive method was developed. With a sample of 28 teachers, a pre-test and post-test evaluation was carried out using the Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability scale. Results: It was determined that the physiotherapy program was effective and improved disability due to low back pain. Since the score in the initial evaluation presented an average score of 59 and at the end of the program it presented an average score of 20, with a percentage variation of 66%. In addition, it was possible to determine the significant effects of the physiotherapy program on disability due to low back pain in teachers through the calculated T value t =8.743 with a significance level of p =0.000. Conclusion: It was demonstrated that the physiotherapy program was effective and improved disability due to low back pain. Which corroborates that exercise with physiotherapy foundations is a new alternative with very good results in pain management and improvement of functional disability. Therefore, it can be used from a preventive approach and to optimize health resources.
