ABSTRACT The present research has as general objective to determine the characteristics that an open school that generates integration in the community of sector 14 in the district of Cajamarca in the year 2016, also has specific objectives; Research and analyze proposed projects of urban spaces, open schools and facilities, determine how to take advantage of the ground for the implementation of an open school, establish how to connect the city with a school, and determine how to generate links between school and community. As a methodology, we chose to analyze two case analyzes, the first one created and built by the study of Obranegra Arquitectos and the second by the architect Mathías Klotz, which are an architectural reference for the conception of the project, with the purpose of adopting the characteristics Of an open school, that allow to contribute to the elaboration and own reflection on the act of projecting architecture. The research concluded that because of the location of the architectural project, it was possible to establish a network of educational equipment, and the characteristics of an open school that generated integration in the community were also determined. It was also possible to investigate and analyze proposed projects. Urban spaces, open schools and equipment through case analysis, it was determined that the land use takes place through platforms and decks of common use.
