The present investigation was carried out in Trujillo, at the Universidad Privada del Norte, aims to determine the influence of the percentage of ashes of artisanal bricks on the compressive strength of type II paving stones; thereby reducing costs and environmental pollution. For the realization of the thesis a pure experimental design was used, the sampling was probabilistic using as background previous studies of concrete pavers, the data collection was done with the technique of observation, the instrument used was the observation guide, to analyze the data, statistical inference was used. This research was based on samples of concrete pavers, which were made with MS cement, fine and coarse aggregate from El Milagro quarry. From the results obtained, the averages for each addition were determined, which were the following, with 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% 9 samples were made by addition, 3 tested at 3 days, 7 days and 28 days, the percentage of absorption was also evaluated using 3 samples per addition. Finally, it was determined that the average of paving stones with 10% of ashes of handmade bricks presents a greater resistance to the 28 days of curing of 385.29 kg / cm2, on the other hand, the average of the paving stones with 15% addition exceed the resistance of 340 kg / cm2 indicated by the NTP 399.611, by which they can also be used. The research concludes that paving stones with 10% addition of artisan brick ash have a greater influence on the compressive strength of type II concrete pavers for the use of light vehicles.
